Flexible Training Progression
Our classes are structured based on levels rather than series, allowing students to graduate to the next level once they meet specific behavior criteria.
All dogs start at Building Basics, regardless of previous training experience. However, those with foundational training can progress quickly through the appropriate levels.

Attendance Suggestions & More
While it’s recommended to attend at least once a week, participants have the flexibility to attend as frequently or infrequently as they wish. This means that you are able to attend your dog’s designated class level twice a week if it fits with your schedule. However, it’s essential to note that the longer the gap between classes, the longer it will take to progress through the levels.
Dogs of any age are welcome to start our Group Class Core Obedience Program. Puppies between 8 to 20 weeks old must have age appropriate vaccines. Dogs 4 months and older are welcome provided they have Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations. Additionally, they should not exhibit aggressive behavior on a leash, such as excessive barking, lunging, or snapping towards people or other dogs.
Classes are limited to six dog-handler teams to ensure personalized attention and optimal learning.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate, students must demonstrate proficiency in the following behaviors, progressively increasing duration, distance, distraction, and diversity, and transitioning toward real-world applications:
Sit
Down
Stay
Loose leash walking
Come
Appropriate greetings of people

Group Class Schedule
Due to the ease of flexibility with a level based group class system, you are able bring your dog to their designated class level once a week, twice a week or skip a week without having to worry about a make-up session. We recommend enrolling in at least 5 classes at your dog’s current designated class level at a time to ensure you have a space. Otherwise, due to popularity of certain class times or demand for certain levels, you may be blocked out if you chose to enroll only one session at a time. The trainer will indicate when you are ready to advance to the next level.
